The Royal British Legion Centre for Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College seeks to progress understanding of blast injury through research and education, by ensuring collaboration of engineers, scientists, and clinicians, in order to improve clinical treatment and rehabilitation and influence strategies such as equipment design. The Centre is a collaboration between military and civilian clinicians, scientists and engineers, it utilises the breadth of expertise across the institution, and through partnerships with key stakeholders has, to date, influenced both treatment and mitigation of blast injuries.
